We spoke with Rebecca during her busy schedule to discover her favourite nature memories and the must-hear sounds of the outdoors.

What’s your favorite thing to do in nature?

My favorite thing to do in nature is take a long walk with my dog, Henrietta. There's nothing better than an early morning, misty walk through a forest together. The smell of damp leaves, the sounds of nature waking for the day and that crisp morning air. Magic!

What are your fondest memories of spending time in nature?

I spent a portion of my childhood growing up on the Murray River. I have lovely memories of swimming in the river as a kid with our neighbours.

Is there a ritual or custom you have to bring nature into your home?

I'm big on transforming my shower into a sensorial experience (hence the creation of my brand, LUI) and the smell of Eucalyptus has always helped calm and soothe my mind. I love to hang Eucalyptus branches in my shower. The steam helps release the scent and they look beautiful too.

Is there a sound in nature that you believe everyone should hear at least once in their lifetime?

A trickling creek. It's so calming and gentle.
